Automated ballast compaction: Higher quality and less effort for tracks that remain stable over time.
DB InfraGO is consistently driving forward automation in maintenance: After two years of intensive development, testing, and technical evaluation, system7’s innovative tamping process with automated tamping duration has now been approved for use on the German rail network. For the first time, tamping machines measure the compaction of the ballast under the tie in real time and stop automatically as soon as the optimal density is reached. This improves the quality of tamping, stabilizes the track alignment, and strengthens the infrastructure.
