Machine christening at Eiffage
Eiffage inside! Something big is on the horizon and work is already underway here. Our Eiffage Infra-Rail will soon have a new addition in the field of large track construction equipment: the automated tamping robot from system7rail. The tamping robot is equipped with modern sensor technology and measures the properties of the ballast bed during track tamping work. Two touchscreens and two joysticks allow the tamper to operate the machine intuitively and easily. The fully hydraulic tamping drive only works during penetration and tamping – this not only reduces noise but also C02 and dust emissions. An innovative and sustainable machine that we are very much looking forward to.
